Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Illustrator to join our growing team in Bel Air Rivière Sèche. As an Illustrator at Pamplemousses Media, you will be instrumental in bringing our clients’ visions to life through captivating visual art. You will conceptualize and create original illustrations for a diverse range of projects, including advertising campaigns, digital content, branding materials, publications, and more. This role demands a strong understanding of various artistic styles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and engaging visuals. You’ll collaborate closely with art directors, graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing strategists to ensure that your illustrations align with project objectives and brand guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Develop original illustrations, artwork, and visual concepts for a variety of media platforms, including print, digital, and social media.
- Collaborate with creative teams, including art directors and graphic designers, to understand project requirements and client briefs.
- Translate abstract ideas and concepts into compelling visual stories and designs.
- Utilize a range of artistic techniques and software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate) to produce high-quality illustrations.
- Ensure all artwork adheres to brand guidelines, project specifications, and deadlines.
- Present concepts and finished artwork to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback effectively.
- Maintain an organized library of digital assets and project files.
- Stay updated with industry trends, illustration techniques, and software advancements.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to new projects.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Illustrator with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques.
- Exceptional drawing and sketching abilities, both traditional and digital.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and typography.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field.
- Experience with animation or motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects).
- Familiarity with 3D illustration tools.
- Experience working in an advertising agency or media production environment.
- Knowledge of Creole and French is a plus.
