Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold linen, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain industrial and commercial laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and irons, safely and efficiently.
- Inspect items for stains or damage, pre-treating as necessary, and accurately reporting any irreparable or lost items to supervisors.
- Ensure all laundry areas are kept immaculately clean, tidy, and organized at all times, strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies, including detergents and chemicals, and report replenishment needs promptly to supervisors.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding hygiene, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Communicate effectively and collaboratively with other team members, including housekeeping and facilities staff, to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Assist with other general housekeeping or facility support duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-player attitude.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a larger team.
- Strong attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong, proactive work ethic.
