Career.zycto is seeking a motivated and technically proficient IT Field Support Assistant to join our growing team in the vibrant Dubai Sports City Stadium Area. As an IT Field Support Assistant, you will be the frontline hero, providing essential on-site technical assistance to our diverse client base. You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, set up new equipment, and ensure our clients’ IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, network devices) and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventative maintenance.
- Assist users with IT-related queries, troubleshooting problems, and providing effective solutions.
- Document all support activities, resolutions, and configurations accurately.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel when necessary.
- Educate users on basic IT best practices and security awareness.
- Travel to client sites within Dubai Sports City and surrounding areas as required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and MS Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and component replacement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Valid UAE driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with flexible hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of macOS and Linux environments.
- Customer service experience in an IT support role.
- CompTIA A+ or similar IT certifications.
