Career.zycto is seeking an visionary and results-oriented Director of Research & Development to spearhead our innovation initiatives in Mutoko, Mashonaland East Province. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall R&D strategy aligned with company objectives and market needs.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of scientists, researchers, and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of R&D projects, including ideation, planning, execution, monitoring, and successful commercialization.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, research opportunities, and strategic partnerships to drive innovation.
- Manage the R&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Ensure all research activities comply with relevant regulatory standards, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines.
- Translate complex scientific findings into clear, actionable recommendations for product development and business strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, marketing, sales, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of new products/processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, scientific advancements, and competitive landscapes to maintain our innovative edge.
