Capitec Bank is seeking a dynamic and target-driven Sales Executive to join our vibrant team in Stellenbosch. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, conducting needs assessments, and effectively presenting solutions that align with their financial goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to acquire new clients for Capitec Bank.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for various financial products and services.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation activities.
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses to understand clients' financial situations and recommend suitable Capitec solutions.
  • Present and explain Capitec's product offerings clearly and persuasively, addressing client queries and concerns effectively.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with Capitec’s product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., FAIS), and ethical standards.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and maintain accurate client records within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly target-driven with a relentless focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Resilience, persistence, and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport (advantageous for client visits).
  • Basic understanding of financial products and services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • FAIS accreditation (Regulatory Examination RE5 for Representatives) or willingness to obtain it within a specified period.
  • Experience working with diverse client segments.
  • Fluency in Afrikaans and English (both written and spoken).
