Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic vision for Career.zycto’s R&D initiatives, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team of researchers, engineers, and data scientists.
- Oversee the entire R&D lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization to prototyping, testing, and successful product launch.
- Manage the R&D budget, resources, and timelines effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and timely project delivery.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, research methodologies, and innovative solutions to enhance our product offerings and create new market opportunities.
- Foster a culture of innovation, intellectual curiosity, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the R&D department.
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product integration and market adoption.
- Establish and maintain strong intellectual property practices, including patent filings and trade secret protection.
- Represent Career.zycto at industry conferences, collaborate with academic institutions, and contribute to the broader technology community.
- Monitor competitive landscape and technological advancements to ensure Career.zycto remains at the forefront of HR technology innovation.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in R&D or advanced engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership/management capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in leading significant software development or research projects from concept to delivery.
- Strong technical background in areas such as AI/ML, data analytics, cloud computing, and software architecture.
- Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top engineering and research talent.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Engineering).
