Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Prepare and transport materials, tools, and equipment to work areas efficiently and safely.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall using hand and power tools under direct supervision.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe, organized, and productive environment.
- Help in the assembly and installation of wooden frameworks, roofs, stairs, door and window frames, and other structures.
- Follow all company and industry safety guidelines and protocols diligently at all times to prevent accidents.
- Actively learn and apply basic carpentry techniques, methods, and best practices from experienced team members.
- Support general site cleanup, waste disposal, and adherence to environmental regulations.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of tools and fundamental construction safety principles.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying materials.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently from supervisors and team leads.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
