Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
- Sort, stack, and organize incoming and outgoing goods within the warehouse facility.
- Verify cargo against shipping documents, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks) after proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Prepare freight for shipment, including labeling, packing, and securing goods.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding freight status and operational needs.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and operational guidelines at all times.
