Job Description
Career.zycto is on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to bolster our dynamic engineering team in Bukit Gombak, Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless software delivery and robust system performance. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, automating our CI/CD pipelines from code commit to deployment, and continuously enhancing our monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

You’ll work closely with software developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and drive their implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment and testing.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure operational stability and uptime.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure applications are designed for reliability, scalability, and observability.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance across the infrastructure and application lifecycle.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems and respond to incidents swiftly.
- Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Solid experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with microservices architectures and serverless computing.
- Knowledge of database administration (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.
- Prior experience in a FinTech or high-transactional environment.
