Career.zycto is actively seeking a dynamic and highly organized On-site Receptionist to join our dedicated team at our Dothan clinic’s front desk. This pivotal role serves as the first point of contact for our patients, setting the tone for their entire experience. As the Clinic Front Desk Receptionist, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic’s administrative functions. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet patients, visitors, and staff in person and over the phone.
- Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls, taking messages, and providing information.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently using clinic software.
- Complete patient registration, update demographic and insurance information accurately.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other patient payments; process daily financial transactions.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Organize and maintain patient records, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- Manage the waiting area, ensuring it remains clean, tidy, and welcoming.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, scanning, and mail handling.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and address any scheduling conflicts.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
