Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and play experiences.
- Foster a safe, clean, and stimulating environment conducive to children's holistic development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting key developmental milestones and learning needs.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team approach to childcare and education.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and individual learning plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Administer basic first aid and medication as required, adhering to prescribed protocols.
Required Skills
- Proven experience working with children in an early childhood setting (e.g., kindergarten, daycare).
- Strong understanding of child development theories and pedagogical approaches.
