Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial needs analyses for new and existing clients, identifying goals, risk tolerance, and current financial standing.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized financial plans, encompassing investment portfolios, retirement planning, education funding, and estate strategies.
- Provide ongoing advice and guidance on a wide range of financial products and services, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market conditions.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients through regular communication, proactive reviews, and exceptional service.
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, regulatory changes, and new financial products to ensure up-to-date and compliant advice.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including investment managers and client service professionals, to ensure seamless client experiences and integrated solutions.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets, client retention rates, and overall client satisfaction metrics.
- Ensure all client interactions, financial advice, and documentation adhere strictly to compliance standards and ethical guidelines set by regulatory bodies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in financial planning or wealth management, directly advising clients.
- Holds relevant industry qualifications, such as the CISI Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent/higher).
- Proven track record of building, nurturing, and managing a client portfolio, demonstrating strong client acquisition and retention abilities.
- Excellent understanding of investment products, pensions, insurance, taxation, and estate planning principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities to assess complex financial situations and formulate effective strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in financial planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently with initiative and collaboratively as an integral part of a high-performing team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced industry certifications such as Chartered Financial Planner (CII) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families, understanding their unique financial challenges and opportunities.
