Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport passengers to their destinations as scheduled.
- Plan optimal routes considering traffic and road conditions to ensure timely arrivals.
- Maintain the vehicle in impeccable condition, including regular cleaning, fueling, and routine checks (oil, tires, brakes).
- Coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to schedules.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion regarding passengers and their activities.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or other belongings.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate proactively regarding potential delays, route changes, or vehicle issues.
- Be available for flexible working hours, including evenings or weekends, as required by the schedule.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers during transit.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class B minimum).
- Proven experience of at least 4 years as a personal or corporate driver.
- Excellent knowledge of Abuja city roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routes.
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics for basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Exceptional defensive driving skills and a clean driving record.
- High level of punctuality and reliability.
