Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, compassionate, and age-appropriate care for children ranging from infants to pre-teens.
- Supervise children during playtime, educational activities, meals, and naps, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging, developmental activities, including arts and crafts, storytelling, outdoor play, and educational games.
- Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, changing, bathing, and getting dressed, promoting independence where appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children, including tidying play areas and sanitizing toys.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols.
- Support children’s emotional and social development, encouraging positive behavior and resolving conflicts constructively.
- Adapt to varying schedules and family needs, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
- Document daily activities, observations, and any significant incidents as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in childcare, babysitting, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
