Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort and separate linens, towels, and uniforms according to fabric type, color, and degree of soil.
- Pre-treat stains and inspect items for damage before washing.
- Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper weight and cycle selection.
- Fold, stack, and organize clean linens and towels neatly for distribution to hotel departments.
- Iron and press items as required, ensuring a professional finish.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including equipment and work surfaces.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, notifying supervisors of low stock.
