Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Truck Driver with loading, unloading, and securing cargo safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against delivery manifests and assist with documentation.
- Navigate and assist with route planning, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the truck cabin and cargo area.
- Communicate effectively with the driver, dispatch, and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with minor roadside repairs or maintenance checks as needed.
- Provide physical support during arduous tasks, demonstrating teamwork and reliability.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes and logbooks, are accurately completed and submitted.
