Job Description

Are you a seasoned communications professional with a passion for clear, impactful policy dissemination? Brandwatch is seeking a dedicated Work from Home Policy Communications Officer to join our dynamic People & Culture team. In this pivotal remote role, you will be instrumental in shaping, articulating, and managing our global remote and hybrid work policies, ensuring seamless and consistent communication across all levels of the organization. As we continue to embrace flexible work models, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our employees understand, engage with, and adhere to our work from home guidelines, fostering a positive and productive remote work culture. You will be responsible for translating complex policy documents into accessible, engaging communications, utilizing various digital channels to reach our diverse global workforce effectively. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal skills, capable of navigating evolving work environments and contributing to Brandwatch’s commitment to employee well-being and operational excellence. You will work closely with HR, Legal, IT, and leadership to ensure policy consistency and effective implementation, becoming a central point of contact for all work-from-home policy-related queries and updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit clear, concise, and engaging communications materials related to Brandwatch's work from home and flexible work policies.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, IT, and senior leadership to ensure policies are accurately reflected and communicated in all official documents and channels.
  • Manage the internal communication strategy for all policy updates, changes, and new initiatives related to remote work.
  • Design and implement communication plans, including timelines and channel selection, for policy rollouts.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding work-from-home policies, providing clear and consistent information.
  • Monitor feedback channels and conduct employee surveys to assess understanding and effectiveness of policy communications, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to Brandwatch's brand guidelines, tone of voice, and legal compliance standards.
  • Create training materials, FAQs, and guides to support employees and managers in understanding and implementing remote work policies.
  • Stay informed on best practices in remote work policies and internal communications, recommending innovative approaches.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex information into clear and concise messages.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, particularly those related to remote work and employee engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing communication strategies for policy changes or new initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using various digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, email marketing, collaboration software).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in a technology or SaaS company, particularly with a globally distributed workforce.
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance requirements related to employment and data privacy.
  • Experience with change management communication strategies.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating engaging visual communications.
  • Certification in internal communications or HR-related fields.
