Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas regularly to ensure safety and security of premises, personnel, and assets.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to prevent theft, vandalism, or infractions of rules.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Apprehend trespassers and violators, providing accurate and detailed reports.
- Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
- Watch alarm systems or CCTV cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
- Perform first aid or CPR when necessary.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position.
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
- Familiarity with report writing.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- SSCE/GCE or equivalent.
