Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies.
  • Conduct site inspections and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the hotel's facilities and services.
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals effectively.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the hotel and expand professional networks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for management.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in hotel sales or a related hospitality sales role
  • Strong understanding of the Abuja hospitality market
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close sales effectively
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Existing network of corporate clients or event planners in Abuja
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS)
  • Fluency in additional local languages (e.g., Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo) is a plus
