Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and control water treatment plant processes and equipment, including pumps, filters, and chemical feed systems.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on plant machinery and infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate operational logs, records, and reports, documenting all activities and observations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Water Treatment Operator or in a similar environmental operations role.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment processes (e.g., coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection).
  • Knowledge of water quality parameters and analytical testing procedures.
  • Proficiency in operating and monitoring SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to plant equipment.
  • Excellent observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and report generation.
