This full-time role is crucial for delivering and maintaining high-speed broadband network infrastructure, ensuring robust and reliable connectivity for our diverse customer base. As an NBN Installer, you will be at the forefront of technological advancement, working hands-on with cutting-edge fibre optic, Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC), and traditional copper network technologies. Your responsibilities will extend beyond simple installation; you will conduct detailed site assessments, precisely lay and connect telecommunications cabling, configure complex network termination devices, and perform comprehensive testing to guarantee optimal network performance and signal integrity.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, activation, and maintenance of NBN network equipment, including fibre optic, HFC, and copper lines.
- Conduct thorough site surveys and assessments to determine optimal installation routes and configurations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to broadband connectivity and network performance.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Configure and test network devices, modems, routers, and other customer premises equipment (CPE).
- Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment used, and network configurations in company databases.
- Operate company vehicles, tools, and test equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex network problems.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in telecommunications installation, particularly with fibre optics and copper networks.
- Strong understanding of broadband technologies (FTTP, FTTN, HFC, ADSL).
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and network plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid German driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
- Proficiency in spoken and written German and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in telecommunications, cabling, or network installation.
- Experience with NBN specific installation standards and procedures.
- Prior experience in customer-facing technical support roles.
