Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
- Engage residents in meaningful social and recreational activities to promote well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and comfortable environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and hydration.
- Observe and report any changes in a resident's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
- Administer medication reminders under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Perform light housekeeping duties within resident rooms to maintain a clean and tidy living space.
- Document care provided accurately and promptly in resident records.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
