Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming goods (food, beverages, supplies).
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders, noting any discrepancies or damaged items.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and reconcile with system records.
- Prepare and process requisitions from kitchen staff and other departments.
- Identify and report slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock.
- Assist in placing orders with suppliers based on par levels and operational needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
- Implement and adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
