Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace various types of locks, including mechanical, electronic, and high-security systems.
- Provide emergency lockout services for homes, businesses, and vehicles.
- Cut and duplicate keys with precision using manual and automated equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot lock and security system malfunctions.
- Advise clients on the best security solutions for their specific needs, including access control and alarm systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory of parts and tools.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate and maintain a company vehicle, ensuring tools and equipment are organized and in good working order.
- Respond promptly and professionally to service calls, often outside regular business hours.
- Stay updated with new locking technologies and security trends.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Locksmith or in a related field (minimum 3 years).
- Proficiency in installing, repairing, and rekeying various lock types.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic security systems.
- Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid German driver's license (Class B) and a clean driving record.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
