Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, processing orders, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Prepare and process essential logistics documentation, such as waybills, packing lists, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Monitor transportation schedules and track shipments to ensure on-time performance and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the optimization of warehouse operations, including organization, storage, and retrieval processes.
- Participate in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies within the logistics department.
- Handle data entry and generate reports related to logistics activities, contributing to informed decision-making.
- Assist with other administrative duties as required to support the overall logistics function.
Required Skills
- Minimum of OND/HND in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience in a logistics, supply chain, or administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
