Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission various security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and intercoms, according to design specifications and industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of existing security systems to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements, identify potential challenges, and recommend optimal security solutions.
- Terminate and test wiring, cables, and connections for all installed security components.
- Provide clear, concise training to clients on the operation and basic maintenance of newly installed systems.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and system configurations.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, building codes, and company policies on all job sites.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, sales teams, and other technicians to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in the installation and servicing of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
- Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring and cabling techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and practices
- Proficiency in spoken and written German and English
Preferred Qualifications
