Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manual tasks including loading, unloading, and moving materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, masons, electricians) with their tasks as required.
- Clean and prepare worksites, removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering strictly to safety guidelines.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth to grade specifications.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support inventory management by assisting with the receiving, sorting, and storage of materials.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25kg) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Good team player with a positive attitude.
- Punctuality and commitment to work schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a general labor or construction role.
