Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via in-person, phone, and remote channels.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operating system (Windows, basic macOS), application, and connectivity problems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other relevant systems.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and security checks.
- Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and lifecycle management.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and IT procedures for knowledge base improvement.
- Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and new technology rollouts.
- Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT tools and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 administration
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair for desktops, laptops, and printers
- Basic network troubleshooting skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Familiarity with Active Directory user and computer management
- Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Zendesk)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
