Career.zycto is actively seeking a diligent and compassionate On-site Housekeeper to join our dedicated team at a premier residential facility located in Jones Valley, Huntsville. This pivotal role involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all common areas, resident rooms, and communal spaces, directly contributing to the comfort, health, and overall well-being of our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for a comprehensive range of housekeeping duties, adhering strictly to established health, safety, and sanitation protocols. This includes performing routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash receptacles, and restocking supplies in common areas. You will also manage laundry services, ensuring linens and residents’ personal items are cleaned and returned promptly and in excellent condition. Understanding and following infection control procedures is paramount to protecting both residents and staff. You will be expected to manage your time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within designated schedules, always prioritizing areas of greatest need while minimizing disruption to residents.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and deep cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, common areas, and resident living spaces according to strict protocols.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and manage waste disposal effectively.
- Restock all necessary supplies in restrooms, common areas, and resident supply closets.
- Manage facility laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal items.
- Adhere strictly to all infection control, health, and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items promptly.
- Interact respectfully and professionally with residents, visitors, and fellow staff members.
- Maintain a neat and organized cleaning cart and storage areas, ensuring proper inventory of supplies.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are properly maintained.
Required Skills
- Proven attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.

- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification in First Aid and/or CPR.
