Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop compelling and intuitive interactive data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using various data visualization tools.
- Translate complex data sets and analytical findings into clear, concise, and aesthetically pleasing visual stories for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, business analysts, and product managers to understand data requirements and user needs.
- Apply best practices in visual design, information architecture, and user experience to ensure data products are both functional and beautiful.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, user testing, and evolving business requirements.
- Ensure consistency in visual branding and design standards across all data visualization assets and platforms.
- Research and recommend new data visualization tools, techniques, and trends to enhance our capabilities.
- Educate and advocate for data visualization best practices and data literacy within the organization.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Visualization Designer or similar role.
- Expertise in leading data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, Looker Studio, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, data storytelling, and UX/UI best practices.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and querying using SQL.
- Experience with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for custom visualizations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design choices and present insights effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
