Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and answering questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner, ensuring correct orders and presentation.
- Anticipate guest needs, providing attentive service throughout their meal, including refilling drinks, clearing plates, and checking on satisfaction.
- Process guest payments accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including setting and clearing tables, polishing glassware, and restocking supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as hotel and restaurant policies and procedures.
- Handle guest concerns and special requests with professionalism and efficiency, escalating to management when necessary.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, demonstrating teamwork and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel dining environment.
