Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses under supervision, adhering strictly to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
  • Prepare reagents, media, and samples for experiments, ensuring precise measurements and proper labeling.
  • Maintain, clean, and sterilize laboratory equipment and glassware to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including tracking supplies, chemicals, and ordering new materials as needed.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of a clean and organized laboratory space, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior scientists and team members on various research projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, summaries, and presentations of experimental findings.

Required Skills

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Strong foundational understanding of basic laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in data collection, organization, and basic analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
