Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a wide variety of deli products, including slicing meats and cheeses, preparing salads, and assembling sandwiches.
- Assist customers with their selections, offering product knowledge and recommendations with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers, scales, and ovens safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock display cases, and manage product rotation to minimize waste.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing excellent point-of-sale service.
- Support the overall cleanliness and presentation of the deli department and store.
