Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed test plans to identify and reproduce software defects (bugs) in video games.
- Document all identified bugs clearly, concisely, and comprehensively, including steps to reproduce, actual results, and expected outcomes, using designated bug tracking tools.
- Provide constructive and detailed written and verbal feedback on game mechanics, user interface, player experience, and overall gameplay enjoyment.
- Perform regression testing to verify that previously reported and fixed bugs remain resolved.
- Actively participate in team meetings and discussions to review testing progress, highlight critical issues, and collaborate on solutions.
- Stay informed about current gaming trends, new platforms, and evolving testing methodologies.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and other quality assurance team members to maintain high product quality standards.
- Adhere strictly to confidentiality agreements regarding unreleased game titles and sensitive project information.
