Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level WordPress technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for client websites.
- Perform routine website maintenance, including plugin/theme updates, security checks, and database optimization.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to WordPress core, themes, plugins, and third-party integrations.
- Implement performance optimizations to ensure fast loading speeds and optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with project managers and developers on website enhancements and new feature implementations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations and timely updates on support requests.
- Manage and prioritize multiple support tickets, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Assist with website migrations, backups, and staging environment management.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, security vulnerabilities, and best practices.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development and technical support.
- Proficient in WordPress core, themes (especially custom themes), and a wide range of plugins.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with database management (MySQL) and cPanel/hosting environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
