Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse associates, ensuring high productivity and adherence to operational standards.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and regulatory requirements (OSHA, etc.) to maintain a safe working environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and internal departments to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of products.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper functionality and safety checks.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, safety updates, and performance feedback.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve them effectively to minimize disruption.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a warehouse supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
