Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import/Export Clerk to join our bustling operations in Inhamizua, Beira. This full-time position is crucial for the smooth execution of our international trade activities, ensuring compliance with all local and international regulations while facilitating the timely movement of goods. As an Import/Export Clerk, you will be instrumental in managing documentation, coordinating with various stakeholders, and meticulously tracking shipments from origin to destination. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent administrative skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of customs procedures and logistical processes. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process all necessary import/export documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure efficient cargo movement.
- Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to internal teams and clients regarding status and potential delays.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, national, and international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
- Verify accuracy of import/export data, tariffs, and duties, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all import/export transactions and correspondence.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to shipments, customs clearance, or documentation.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, clients, and partners to facilitate smooth operations.

- Proficiency in import/export documentation and customs procedures.
