Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall R&D strategy aligned with Career.zycto's business objectives and long-term vision in recruitment technology.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team of engineers, data scientists, and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the entire R&D lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization to prototyping, testing, and successful handover to product development.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, blockchain for credentials) relevant to the HR and recruitment space.
- Manage R&D budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines, ensuring efficient execution and delivery of results.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure R&D initiatives meet market needs and business goals.
- Establish and maintain intellectual property strategies, including patenting and knowledge management.
- Represent Career.zycto's R&D capabilities externally, engaging with academic institutions, industry consortia, and technology partners.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in R&D, including agile methodologies, quality assurance, and ethical considerations in AI development.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership in an R&D or advanced technology development role, preferably within SaaS, AI, or HR Tech.
