Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport clients to their designated destinations, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and regulations within Darmstadt and surrounding regions.
- Plan and execute efficient routes, considering real-time traffic updates, weather conditions, and client preferences, especially when operating near the European Space Operations Centre.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in impeccable condition, ensuring cleanliness, optimal functionality, and a luxurious presentation both inside and out.
- Assist clients courteously with loading and unloading luggage or other personal belongings, demonstrating a helpful and proactive attitude.
- Exercise the highest level of discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, travel details, and discussions.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fuel levels, oil, tire pressure, lights, and general operational status; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, company management, and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to accommodate last-minute schedule changes, special requests, and varying client needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of mileage, fuel consumption, travel times, and journey logs for administrative purposes.
- Ensure a consistently comfortable, safe, and stress-free environment for all passengers throughout their journey.
Required Skills
- Valid German driving license (Class B or equivalent) with an impeccable driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years (36 months) of proven professional chauffeur experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Darmstadt city and the wider Hesse region, including optimal routes and traffic patterns.
- Strong command of both English and German languages, both written and spoken.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and routine maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with operating GPS navigation systems and other in-car technologies.
