Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and execute strategic research projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
  • Identify appropriate research methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods) to address key business questions.
  • Collect, process, and analyze complex data sets from various primary and secondary sources, ensuring data integrity.
  • Synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Develop and present comprehensive research reports, presentations, and dashboards to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify strategic opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, sales) to align research efforts with business objectives.
  • Manage research budgets, timelines, and external vendor relationships when applicable.
  • Maintain a repository of research data and insights, ensuring accessibility and consistency.
  • Continuously improve research processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and impact.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in market research, strategic planning, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
  • Proven experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python, SPSS, SAS) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex data clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimental design.
  • Experience in a consulting environment or supporting multiple internal clients.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset, given the Quebec context.
