Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness in both physical and electronic formats.
  • File, retrieve, and scan patient information in compliance with established procedures.
  • Process requests for medical records, strictly adhering to confidentiality and privacy guidelines (e.g., PDPA).
  • Assist with accurate data entry and updating of patient demographic and clinical information into relevant systems.
  • Ensure proper indexing, archiving, and destruction of medical documents according to retention policies.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with healthcare professionals, patients, and administrative staff regarding record inquiries.
  • Participate in quality control activities to maintain high standards of record management and data integrity.
  • Handle telephone and email inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Support general administrative tasks as required by the department.
