Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, orienteering, camp craft, and environmental studies.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety for all participants, adhering to established protocols and conducting thorough risk assessments.
- Provide instruction and mentorship, encouraging personal growth, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Manage group dynamics effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain and inspect outdoor equipment, ensuring it is in safe and working condition.
- Administer basic first aid and emergency response as needed.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with colleagues, participants, and stakeholders.
- Document program activities, incidents, and participant progress.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in leading outdoor education programs or adventure activities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of outdoor safety protocols and risk management.
- Proficiency in outdoor skills (e.g., navigation, wilderness first aid, camp craft).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- First Aid/Wilderness First Responder certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Fluency in German and English.
Preferred Qualifications
