Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Full-Time Dentist to join our dedicated healthcare team at Chipinge District Hospital. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled dental professional to provide comprehensive oral healthcare services to the Chipinge community. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontic treatments.
- Administer local anesthesia effectively and safely.
- Provide preventative dental care, including scaling and polishing, fluoride applications, and dental sealants.
- Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and lifestyle choices that impact dental health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and medical ethics.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient management and referral when necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.

Required Skills
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice dentistry in Zimbabwe.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
- Proficiency in general dentistry procedures and patient management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patients.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
