Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms, suites, and common areas (lobbies, corridors, restrooms) to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Make beds, change linens and towels, and replenish all in-room amenities (toiletries, stationery, mini-bar items) according to hotel standards.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep, mop, and polish all types of floors, ensuring a spotless finish.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, artwork, and all surfaces meticulously.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including showers, bathtubs, toilets, and sinks, ensuring all chrome and glass surfaces gleam.
- Empty waste bins, remove trash, and transport dirty linen to designated collection points.
- Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report them promptly to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and hotel operational policies.
- Handle guest requests courteously, efficiently, and promptly, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Maintain a well-stocked, organized, and secure housekeeping cart throughout the shift.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness and presentation.
- Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment, and their safe usage.
- Good physical condition and stamina to perform demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
