Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting).
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential maintenance issues proactively.
- Execute minor repairs including carpentry, painting, drywall, and general fixture replacements.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, workshops, and facility common areas.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for various internal events or projects.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors when specialized repairs or services are required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a facility maintenance or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of general plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC operation.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot common maintenance issues.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant trade certification (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- First Aid and/or CPR certification.
