Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to users in the computer lab, assisting with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor computer lab operations, ensuring all equipment is functional and available for use.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment, updating software, and checking for security vulnerabilities.
- Assist users with logging in, accessing applications, saving files, and basic internet navigation.
- Maintain an organized and clean computer lab environment, including managing peripheral devices and supplies.
- Report complex technical issues to senior IT staff or management for resolution.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of hardware, software, and other lab assets.
- Enforce lab policies and guidelines to ensure a productive and respectful user experience.
- Provide guidance and support for printing services and other lab-specific resources.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all lab users.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software (Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Familiarity with network connectivity and internet usage.
