Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, washing, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment efficiently and safely, following established guidelines.
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans, ensuring a constant supply of clean items for daily service.
- Support stock management by assisting with receiving deliveries, organizing storage areas, and monitoring inventory levels.
- Properly dispose of waste and contribute to recycling efforts as per hotel policies.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the entire kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
