Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and finish a wide variety of breads, rolls, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and production schedules.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, proofers, and dividers, ensuring their safe and efficient use.
- Monitor product quality at all stages of production, from ingredient mixing to final baking and cooling, adjusting processes as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP principles) to ensure the highest level of product safety and workplace cleanliness.
- Manage ingredient inventory, ensuring proper rotation, storage, and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate effectively with the production team, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Assist in the development and refinement of new recipes and product lines as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to the overall cleanliness of the bakery.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Baker, specifically with bread and pastry production.
- In-depth knowledge of baking principles, ingredients, and techniques.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
