Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Estate Facility Technician to become an integral part of our property management team in Jericho, Ibadan. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of all estate facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment, to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, HVAC units, carpentry, and general building structures.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Execute minor and major repairs, replacements, and installations as required to ensure optimal functionality of facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and materials used.
- Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and communicate needs for replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects, overseeing their work to ensure quality.
- Assist in the preparation and setup of facilities for events or new occupants.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and tenants, addressing their concerns professionally and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Minimum of OND/HND in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Building Technology).
- Proven experience in general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform duties that require lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade certification in plumbing, electrical work, or HVAC.
- Previous experience working in a large residential or commercial estate.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to facility management.
- Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and communication.
