Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the precise setup of banquet halls, meeting rooms, and event spaces according to floor plans and event orders.
- Arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, and other equipment accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and place table linens, skirting, china, glassware, and silverware to high aesthetic standards.
- Support the banquet team with pre-event checks, ensuring all equipment is functional and presentable.
- Assist with the swift and organized teardown of event spaces post-event, including clearing and storing equipment.
- Transport equipment and supplies between storage areas and event venues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet equipment storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards during setup, service, and teardown.
- Follow instructions from banquet managers and supervisors diligently and proactively.
- Learn and adapt to various event requirements and setup styles.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of English for communication.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
